The weather is beautiful out here in the desert... 80 degrees...not a cloud in the sky...
It reminds me of what it was like when I first got here...back when I was happy, filled with hopes and dreams, and still believed I'd made the right decision...
Just like when I first got here...I now have a list of things to do to keep me busy...
For one...I finally got working on my friend's chopper tank...
Here's a pic of me shooting the self-etching primer...which I decided to use last minute...having so RARELY getting to work with such happy and healthy metal...I'd really like to keep it that way.
I think the hardest thing about working on this tank is not having the right apperatus...being forced to be creative...I used my backpacking rope to hang the tank from a ring I found over the door.
Today I also started splitting my time between the tank and my friend's '63 Nova. I've done some work on it before...but this time she's left it at the house with me for the three weeks she'll be in Europe. Let me tell you...that car is FUUUUUUCKED up... I'd LOVE to create miracles for my friend...but without the tools I need...I'm just gonna do what I can...
Not to mention the 800 heart attacks I had just trying to move the car into the yard. The idle is so high it sounds like it's going to fucking explode...I can't reach the brakes...and you can't tell what gear you're in until you're moving... *rolls eyes*
I'll try to get the before and after pictures at some point...
AND....when I'm not doing that...I'm pinstriping...
I still have like, 20 purses...10 belts, and 3 wallets to pinstripe...*sigh*
Like I said...I've been busy...no more time to sit behind this computer...gotta get back out to the yard!

My mom has been screaming at the TV ever since the "controversy" began months ago in anger at how stupid these people are about this.
You'll pull through well tho. I'm absolutely positive.
Maybe I could sit up front and make vroom vroom noises and skid sounds?! Need a co-pilot?
