I got a slight "promotion" yesterday at work. I went from being a warehouse/computer repair/recycling technician (in other words fixing fixable "junk" computers for resale) to working in the office as a prospective sales locator (telemarketer). No matter how many fancy terms you put behind it...... it still sucks. Today was the first day since I started this job that I hesitated in my excitement in going to work. THe only reason I got this "promotion" is that the ass licking mother fucking cocksucking son of a one eyed whore named "lucky" who is supposed to handle our office in the company's main office (in Newbury Mass.) is too fucking lazy to do his job. Instead of firing this worthless sack of shit and hiring someone willing to do thier freaking job...... I get handed the responsibility........ I don't mind doing sales, but I feel hypocritical doing telemaketing (even though it is to buisnesses) since I hate recieving it with such a passion *grumbles*
Oh well on the bright side I do get to sit in the A/C all day and play on the internet during the "slow times" wich include 12:00-1:00 the general lunch rush.
Aside from that, everything is going on a steady pace Roth and Earl is starting slowly but will regain momentum from returning from hiatus. Wildside Comics has a new page that was posted last night (so check it out and vote for the site).
Speaking of the comic front, I've been chatting it up with a couple groovy people from a few indy publishers (Terminus Media popping in mind first) about getting a story or few of my material published in thier respective anthologies. *crosses fingers* I need some good luck in this area somehow
