Wow, it's been two weeks since I last updated! Where does the time go?! Sorry I've been so slack with comments lately, I'll try to be better!! Here's what I've been busy with....
Last weekend I went to Bumbershoot with SurlyMike and some friends, a 3 day arts festival here in Seattle, where I discovered that Deborah Harry still kicks ass at 61!
and rediscovered my strange (or not so strange) attraction to girls roller derby.
We also saw some short films, checked out some art exhibits and I enjoyed a piece of pizza by the fountain and bought a couple of cool skirts from
these folks.
The weekend before that I was in Denver and Boulder, Colorado. I had such a great time! Completely unplanned we ended up at Lakeside Amusement Park. This park is 98 years old, and I think some of the employees and rides have been here since it opened.
My inner child was overjoyed, I even got to play skee ball! Mostly I took about a hundred pictures though! Anyone have any advice for taking photos at night of neon lights? I can never seem to get the picture I want!
We also spent the day in Boulder where we went back to the Celestial Seasonings Tea place, where they have some prairie dog fields.....so cute!!
We walked and shopped on Pearl Street. I really liked this little cart, too bad I didn't try any cous cous.
Wow, this is a really photo heavy post!!! If you're not tired of looking at pics, here are the further adventures of El Luchador Atlantis!!!!
Here he is at home in his underwater lair...
I think he also enjoyed his time at Lakeside Amusement Park!!!
Here he faces his ultimate foe, Sallycat of Denver!
I'm having a Pedro Almodovar kind of weekend. Last night Surly and I saw The Flower of My Secret, which I have to say is probably his weakest film, and today we are watching Talk to Her and All About My Mother.
Do you have a favorite Almodovar film?
"chupa mi verga" means "suck my dick" in espanol, can you teach me something dirty in a language you know?

and we ended up seeing Crank..
which was silly, stupid, and a whole lot of fun!
seriously, it made me miss speed
but yeah, it was fun...
you need to post that pic of you and Malcolm!
I was a fan of "Roseanne" also...
but picking my top five fave sitcoms is hard..
i suppose its because i'm older than most people on this site (i'm sure you can relate)
and i've been exposed to so many t.v. series growing up.
I love swordfish also, but very rarely eat it since i found out they were endangered..
now that i know that i probably treat myself to it every couple of years.
It is a tasty one though...
today i scored some fresh tuna from my brother who went fishing recently
good to hear you had fun this weekend,
post that photo when you get a chance!
