Time for a new post! As promised I saw quite a few movies this last week, starting with "Once in a Lifetime" (I saw this instead of Lady in the Water after I saw how bad the reviews were), about the rise and fall of the 1970s New York Cosmos soccer team. As a fan of the LA Aztecs I was very interested in seeing this, and I was not disappointed, I took my mom and we both enjoyed it immensely.
Next, I saw "An Inconvenient Truth", which was good, but as you might expect, alarming.
Then "Wassup Rockers", the new Larry Clark film, which was flawed, but had some brilliant moments! I did enjoy it overall.
On Saturday I saw Clerks 2, which was not nearly as good as the first, in my opinion, but which had several very funny scenes. I enjoyed it overall because I love those characters, but I was disappointed. Rosario Dawson was excellent in it though.
I also saw Lost Highway for the second time. The first time I saw it was when it was originally released in the theater, and I had such a hard time staying awake, so this time I was determined to get through it. I enjoyed it more this time, and I did manage to stay awake, although it was touch and go a couple of times. I think it's a great movie, but the pace is so slow!
Because tailgating is such a pet peeve of mine, I absolutely love this scene!!! Do you have any pet peeves?
I also recently watched Jackass the movie for the first time, and I loved it! If you are a fan of the show and would be so kind, please YouTube me a favorite clip of yours. I have never seen the actual show on MTV.
Question time!
1. Do you like rhubarb pie?
2. Drew Barrymore? good or evil?
3. Do you have a favorite porn star?
4. Rosanna Arquette or Patricia Arquette?
5. What was your favorite thing to be for Halloween when you were a kid? Or is there a certain halloween costume you've worn in your life that you're particularly proud of? Have a photo?![smile](https://dz3ixmv6nok8z.cloudfront.net/static/img/emoticons/smile.0d0a8d99a741.gif)

Oh, you can get Jackass seasons 1 and 2 on DVD, and they're playing trailers now for a second Jackass flick as well. That first movie, I almost tossed my cookies when they we're giving each other paper cuts...~shiver~
We just watched Eraserhead, and I hope it doesn't give me nightmares! I remember falling asleep during Lost Highway, most likely because I just couldn't maintain interest. I have to say Mulholland Drive is one of the most badass movies I have ever seen. And the girl-on-girl love scene -- hello! It's the icing on the cake.
I'm glad you liked Spielerfrau....
