This time of year I don't spend as much time in the pool or on the bike. I spend a little more time just running out my back door. It's cool in the morning, but not too cold, and I warm up quick. I haven't had to wear gloves yet, but will be by the end of the month most likely.
There's not too many people out at first light, and that's a welcome solitude for me. I'll see deer and turkey's, an occasional grey fox. The geese should start arriving soon, as well as some of the other migratory birds that spend winter here on the Russian River.
We haven't had a lot of rain in the last couple years, but I think that this year will be wet. Hopefully we won't flood. more to come...
anjuli:
I love the solitude in the morning
... it's my favorite time to run. It always amazes me how few people actually take advantage of the trails, but I'm not going to say anything
.... I like it that way. I should check out that movie... thanks
!
