back from vermont. it was undescribable. so many stars seen from so many moutaintops. the houses were so old. decaying and skeletal. tiny shacks and huge farm houses dotted the vast expanse of trees and rolling hills. we hiked a bit to a shallow, babbling river and sat on big rocks, smoked bowls and watched the sun come out from behind the dark clouds. it was all so different. the sky seemed bigger. i can't wait to go back.

vermont is fantastic, isn't it? i always thought the natural landscape was more, i don't know, european than anywhere else in the states - lots of green dotted with lots of rocky clumps - just beautiful...

it was so different than anywhere i've been. very picturesque.
