dude i just saw your comment on the why vote for kerry thread,and i want to say,that i think it is admirable to be able to realize,when even though you are commited to a party,you still realize that the representative from that party is the right choice,and you are not afraid or embarrassed to admit that(i.e. the ego thing you mentioned) many kudos to you!

AHEM. what is depakote ????? please be careful with all these pills to loose weight. It can do something on your thyroid (hope it is the good word).

depakote : it is against nervous breakdown ? I took one for that and yes it makes me fat .

Nice....I had an old ampeg forever but sadly it was ripped off...I am building a custom tube amp with my acoustic in mind...I play a 5 string in DADAD and slide playing...and I wanted to come up with a powerhouse to be used for that...I have never built an amp before so it should be an interesting project...

Glad to hear the amp is happy again. The first thing I have to do when I get back to Chicago is buy a new amp. I'm sort of stoked on Mesa Boogie lately. I had a Marshall before that I didn't get along with very well. And the Line stuff is cool, but I don't trust it in a pinch. The $$$ will probably decide it for me.

Definitely starting a band when I get that shit, I miss playing live so much. I haven't played a show since '99.

Not too much other sci fi other than SG1 for me. I watched the x files often until Mulder left. I don't have real axcess to TV right now, but in 2 weeks i will so maybe i'll check some other show out then. One of the things i love about SG1 is the humor. a lot of sci fi misses that.

I've done every facial hair you can imagine. They guys at my old job used to request certain looks all the time, the Taft (I think it's like the Hetfield) was popular. I could only do a mustache for like a week before it got old. And I've never gone out with the Hitler stache, to much history with that one for me. I love to do the Wolverine mutton chops, but my girl likes me either clean, with flavor saver, or goatee w/ mustache. I've got a trimmed beard today. Yeah, I'm a man.

Have you watched any of the commentaries on the SG1 DVDs? I got through season 3 and most of 4. My favorite episode is Upgrades on season 4. Not sure why, maybe Vanessa Angel.
