yeah, just got back to seattle this morning. had a fun time but being that i'm from the arid part of the u.s. i missed the wet a lot. it's easy to forget how nice it is to be hydrated on two quarts a day instead of needing at least three just to sit in the shade. it's easy to forget how hellish the sun feels at 2 in the afternoon when it's covered in clouds most of the time.
even so, it was a fun, relaxing trip. AND we found one of the pink elephant car washes. i'll have a picture soon of it. just rolled right by on the bus.
oh, and i saw a diablo and a maserati gransport spyder out and about. blows your mind seeing people with enough cash to drive a $100k car like it's a dodge neon. i couldn't dream of it. oh, and i saw the fuzz a total of twice. what kind of shit is that? no wonder we were almost hit a few times.
palm springs isn't a pedestrian friendly part of the world, either. sidewalks rarely connect together, people aren't looking for you and the bus system has less than 10 routes. we found it prohibitively difficult to get to the strip and enjoy the nightlife.
all things considered i'm glad to be back to the emerald city at last.

Plus I wasn't sure what time you were working. What time *were* you working? Do you work the same time every day? What time do you get off? Maybe we could meet you for dinner afterwards?
