Today I changed a brake line on a Chevy, got drunk, fucked the hell out of my fiance and smoked my pipe.

I feel like a legit man. Haha.

Eh, it all boils down to "doesn't fucking matter" like 10 years after the fact, but still stings a little.

On the snake front, I got a pair of anerythristic Kenyan sand boas today. Pretty sweet.

Christine is handling her father's death much better than I expected to be honest.

It helps that she got to say goodbye, and that it was not a surprise. Her dad had cancer, and there are generally two outcomes...remission or death.

Well, I am fairly sure Christine's dad passed away today, but I am not entirely sure. She got a call last night saying he went to sleep and they didn't expect him to wake up, so she went to say goodbye today. When I came home, she was asleep...when I woke up, she was not home. She still isn't.

Over the past 3 days, we moved...again.

Getting settled in. It's not a bad place, especially with our stuff out.

For bad news...Christine's dad has been given days to live. The tumors in his brain are getting bigger and they found new stuff in his lungs...inoperable.

Went to a doctor for the first time in 14 years.

Of course she had to be young and cute...making me all nervous.

I am getting a full blood panel done. Check my thyroid, metabolism etc etc.

And then a physical in a month.

That sudden realization that you no longer really matter at your job...

I used to be the full time auditor...Sunday-Thursday. Now I am the guy who covers two second shifts and two weekend overnight shifts.

Easily replaced at the blink of an eye. 9 years...amounting to a whopping dog turd.
