Hi hi,

So busy right now. Very quick update. Comic expo next weekend and I've still got six pages to art up. I've finished the actual comic but I've gotta do a front and back cover. Inside front and back covers AND after adding up the pages I realised I got two blank pages to fill. Can't have blank pages hanging around wasting time.

I've got no idea what to put on these pages and I've got to get em done by Monday (I was gonna take them to the printers today but sod's law my artistic side decided to fuck off and leave me last night right when I needed it. I spent hours drawing complete shit. Which happens now and then. Very annoying though). And even if I get em there by Monday I'm not sure if the books will be done by the expo.

Also things went kinda pear shaped involving my way in to the expo. I've had to pick up a Sunday ticket at the last minute. It's very unlikely I'll be able to blag my way in on the Saturday. I'll be around the Saturday night though. Hanging out and getting drunk with my comic chums. Who now includes the awesome Simon Gane. His stuff is amazing. I got a bit of a man crush I think.

So, the expo could either be awesome or a complete shambles for me. I hope it works out. But if not it's not the end of the world. I have a really nice comic to be proud of which will continue to grow (the next episode is gonna be fucking epic) and a lot of people really seem to like it.

I've also decided I'm gonna ask a girl out (I say that now, I'll probably bottle it) that I know will be at the con. She draws comics I've kinda known her for a while (we met through the Bristol comics forum). But she's really shy and so am I and we've never really had much of a conversation. It'll probably go tits up. But I just thought I'd ask her for a coffee or something.

Also, finally sold my mini this week. I thought I'd never get rid of it. Was a fucking ball ache though. Two hours before the guy was coming to look at it I decided to get it started and give it a wash. Fucking thing wouldn't start. Jump cables attached...still nothing. Took the battery to a garage and it needed to be replaced (at about 40) So I ordered one and then rang the guy who was coming to look at it to tell him the problem. But he had loadsa spare batteries and said he'd bring one. He did. It started beautifully and he bought it He was a really genuine guy as well. He's got some other classic cars so I know she's going to a good home.

That wasn't really a quick update was it? Oh well.
