Holy shit guys! I was at FanExpo in Toronto all weekend. What can I say? It was fucking amazing!
I met Billy Dee Williams, he was very cool. He was way friendly and smooth as ever. I asked him how he got so smooth and the basic answer to the question was that he's not actually smooth at all.......but he was so smooth while he was saying it. lol. How did he do that?
I also met Lou Ferrigno. By accident actually. We had a full on collision in the lobby and I apologized and said I didn't see him. He laughed at that and said that's not something he hears very often. He was really nice too and walked with me for a little bit. He smelled really good.....I know, weird. He's not as tall as I expected. He's basically the same size as me but with more muscles. Man, that guy is still so ripped. I wanted to ask him if he'd arm wrestle me but thought maybe he'd rip my arm off my body by accident or something. haha.
I met Leonard Nimoy as well. I didn't even know what to say to him, he's so super famous and pretty much an icon for me since I grew up on the original Star Trek and he was always my favourite. I've always had the biggest hard on for Spock because he's like so sexy and so smart......I told him he was handsome, it was wicked cool.
Let's see, what else did I do......
I bought a bunch of comics and action figures. I got a boxed set of all the figures from Superman Red Son. Fuck yes!!! I got some X-Files stuff and a custom printed Darth Vader sweater. The whole weekend was just pretty much the best thing ever. I had a better time than last year too because I was able to really maximize my time there and I got to see pretty much all the events I was really excited for.
The only real regret I had was that I didn't have a costume this year. I plan on doing one for next year though. I was thinking of going as the "Jill sandwich" from the first Resident Evil game. If you don't know what I am talking about, just go on to youtube and search for Jill sandwich. You will most likely get some sort of compilation with all the terrible voice acting from the game, it's become a sort of internet phenomenon. The costume would be a legit Jill costume but I would also have 2 large pieces of bread that I will make and would wear it around like I was actually in a sandwich. It's pretty much the best idea ever.
Oh wait, I do have another regret. I didn't take my camera this year so I have no pictures of anything. I took it last year and my kit bag weighs like 30 pounds....anyways, I was miserable the whole time because my shoulder hurt and I was on my feet the whole time and got sick of carrying it around. I'm glad I didn't have to lug it around but I'm sad I have no pictures.
Also, I want this real bad:
Luke Skywalker
So buy it for me! lol.
