i am back from that smog bowl known as LA
(sorry if you actually live there in that stinky place.)
i had fun, though as i always do on trips.
thank you for all your comments on the fragment of story. i randomly typed in the first paragraph i flipped open to. it's not a horror story, but that part kind of made it seem so. has anyone heard of the buddhist concept of the hungry ghost?
I5 is a boring freeway. blech.
and i was worried about the parakeets on the ride back, but i am happy to report that they are ok.

i got this job, or rather into this line of work after years of activism... something im still involved in... Animal Rights was something i could never give up on. Though i often feel its a battle that will never be won, its a battle i feel obligated to be a part of till the goal is acheived or i am unable to go on...
