I've been having a problem with acne lately. I guess it's not a real problem with acne. I mean, there are people whose faces are covered in pimples, who have painful cysts. When I say I have been having an acne problem, I mean that my forehead has been breaking out. I'm pretty sure it's stress, but I've been having as many pimples on my forehead at one time as I had the entire time I was a teenager. (God bless bangs, you'd never know they were there.)
So I recently switched skin care to something specifically for acne prone skin. And after only 3 days, I feel like it's working. The four zits on my forehead that were kind of red and angry and painful are now significantly smaller and not red anymore. They're on their way out.
There's just one problem with the new skin care. The facial wash stinks. Bad. To me, it smells like wet dog. Like a wet, dirty dog who hasn't had a bath in 3 years. And, now that I think of it, the serum I have to put on at night smells the same way. I have to breathe through my mouth while I'm washing my face and then for about five minutes afterward as well.
I'm just super reluctant to change again because it's working. And it's hard to find vegan skin care that works for me. So I guess I'll just have to smell like wet dog for ten minutes every day.
It's kind of unfair to have to deal with teenage skin when you're closing in on 30.

Just hang out with more wet dogs. You can blame them.

Not to push a product, but I swear by Neutrogena Oil-Free Acne Wash Gentle Scrub . I had wicked bad skin when I was younger.
