SKETTI IN BED AND L.A. INK
I just spent the last 6 hours in bed watching Season 1 "L.A. Ink" episodes that I downloaded off iTunes. I also made a pot of sketti. I sat in bed, ate sketti and watched TV on my laptop. After the last week or so, I needed that downtime. I spent my entire day (8:15am - 5:30pm) at Music Hall yesterday singing. And then today I had my usual church gig til 12noon. So after I got some sushi, my body said, "PLEASE go to bed."
So I did. It was awesome.
As I watch the show, from an ARTISTRY point of view, I am reminded of what makes a great tattoo stand out from an OK or even pretty darn good one. I've been doing my research in my area to see whose works "hits" me in the right place. I've narrowed my list to about 3 people. And I definitely need someone who can take multiple components and create that "collage" that becomes The Single Piece. This is my first tat, and I'm taking it very seriously. If I'm doing to do it, it's gonna be full on, balls to the wall, DO IT TO IT.

sounds like a nice day, I'm watching a storm chasers marathon myself now and eating some Morrocan stew I made in my crock pot so I can relate. That's cool about your tat. It's funny I don't have one either but want to get one next year. have a good night.
