Another injury!

Tossing my trash into the dumpster this morning, I CRACKED my right thumb open where the skin connects into the thumbnail, on top. I smacked it against cold hard iron. It really really hurt.

I should have known that the particular flavor of melancholy was sick-induced.

An hour ago, I got a headache, the sinuses in back of my eyes hurt, I started sneezing, and generally wanted to fall into bed.

Well, my valentine's day was driving 50 miles to get insulin for Fearless, driving another 30 to get into work for a couple of hours, and a quick trip by BestBuy to get floppy disks, of all things. (There are somethings for which they still have no replacement- installing RAID controller drivers when you are redoing Windows, for instance.)

Yet, I have to say, it's been a good day. I guess it's just not hitting me this year. But then, I'm just fully recovered from my cold- if I were headed the other direction, I am sure I would be in the same mood.

I don't think you are whining. smile You're just telling how you feel... and I wish you Valentine's was better.

I have my "midterm" grade for my accelerated computer class.

Out of a possible 260 points thusfar, I have earned... all 260 of them!

I don't knwo about warmer I've been freezing my bits off! I got stuck in a horrid lake effect snow in Indiana which made me go 6 miles an hour for about 4 hours.

I'm a good cook, but I got a hold of a piece of Cobia that's making me want to run-n- puke

I'm currently burning all available incense and candles. There is no getting away!

It just wasn't cooking up right at ALL. And usually Cobia is a VERY mild fish (firm and white) with a subtle lemon flavor. I didn't dare taste it.
