Lebowski.

Cool.

"We'll cut off your johnson!"
starisea:
Hi!

I just wanted to stop by and thank you for all the kindness and good energy that you sent my way while I was ill n' gah n' all. You are soooooo sweet! kiss

I sincerely hope that you are enjoying your time off and that all of your redecorating projects are progressing nicely. (I fantasize about redecorating. I'm so sucked into the Home and Garden network. *giggles* Guess I should really start working on that real estate buying plan, huh?)

Have a delightful Solstice and happy, happy holidays. *sending cozy holiday hugs and joyful wishes*

I just got back from watching 'The Return of the King'.

Very good. Only one criticism in that it could have ended 15 minutes earlier. I know that all of that stuff is in the book, but there's loads in the books that have been left out for cinematic reasons. That could have been left out too.

I still can't wait for the extended DVD...

Painting this room is taking longer than I planned. I would finish tomorrow, except that I'll spend the afternoon in the cinema watching 'The Return of the King'. biggrin

Maybe I'll put another coat on tonight (if I don't get sucked into SG for too long).

Fumes are making me spacey too...
wuvmonki:
Lucky you... I won't be able to see ROTK at least for a week! It's killing me!
matt_organic:
Cheers dude. Fumes not good. Decorating is something I actually long to do, having been stuck in accomodation I cannot personalise for way too long.

It's very, very sunny today. biggrin
There is something that I find very satisfying about the sunlight on a winterdays day, much more so than on a summers day. Maybe that's because winter (in London) tends to mean an awful lot of grey, or maybe it's because I'm a winter baby.

Today will be a decorating day: but not 'holly and ivy', paint and varnish for...

I don't know how anybody can even think about being festive just yet. I know Christmas comes with winter but it's f**kin' freezing down here at the moment.frown

Can you even feel your ears after standing outside for more than two minutes?
_bossanova_:
Sherlock looks that way no matter what.wink

I'm free smile

Yesterday was my last day at work, beleive me that's a good thing. Sure, when I run out of cash it will be bad, but I got a pay off so no worries just yet.

There were about 6 of us leaving, including the prettiest girl in the office. We talked for a bit, for the fist time (our jobs didn't overlap much...

Arrrgh!!
I hate computers sometimes.
Very geeky, but I thought I'd better upgrade from Windows 98. That *seemed* to go OK, but things are very tempremental. There have been a few keyboard / fist interfaces I'm afraid mad

Hopefully things are back to normal now, and I should be able to bore you all with my thoughts smile

Lacklustre, but very content.

I'm very happy with the quality of my friends here and elsewhere.

I'll only say that I've been burning the candle at both ends for the past few days. I will continue to do so for the rest of the week as there are 3 good reasons to do just that: leaving work, birthday and winter solstice/christmas.

I promise to tell...

Tee hee! Matt is funny. biggrin

Your kind thoughts are very much appreciated. I hope that I didn't make you too sad, cause really I'm okay. Things have just been difficult lately. The ups and downs of life's cyclic rhythms.

Yay for contentment! Contentment is so underrated. Contentment even has a nice full peaceful sound. Ahhhhhh . . . contentment.

Yay for upcoming holidays! I will anticipate your return and please do tell us even if nothing happens. I'm finding that life is really made up of all the nothing bits.

*stari squishes given to fishes to swim across the seas to the land where headbones lives and breathes*

Time for bed . . . I are getting silly. Tee hee!
starisea:
Unfortunately, it is more of the sore in a "hello, you haven't been taking very good care of your body lately" way. *Hangs head very, very sheepishly*

Cleaning, yoga and holiday making for me this eventide . . .

No update? Nothing exciting from across the land and sea?

*quizzical stari*

'Hitting the hobbit' is now my euphemism of choice.
starisea:
"Hitting the hobbit"? Does this mean what I think it means? Tee hee!

Dearest headbones,

Thank you for the positive thoughts. Hard times are much easier to bear when one has such nice peeps thinking kindly of them. SG is full of the best peeps, and you are certainly one of them.

I hope that your weekend continued in the most wonderful way.

On my way home today I passed a marquee all about the London bid for the 2012 Olympics. Curiosity got the better of me and I poked my head in for a look. There was a lot of maps, and it seems that if London is successful I could walk to the main stadium in 20 minutes. It doesn't seem real somehow. Anyway: there's no...

I feel great.
Good food in my belly, and a really good yoga session. I *so* needed my yoga this week: I've noticed a build up of negative thoughts and emotions the past couple of days, but I feel back on track again now.

I decided to relax on Sunday evening: mainly because I remembered I was going out the following day. As is usually...

Oh, yeah . . . Very nice comment on the fog. My dearest almost used the same imagery when describing it this morning. Misty, mysterious mornings are such splendid things

Ummm . . . yeah, I seem to be having some sort of spelling or typing problem this evening..

The Cure rocked! I am not really upset about how few partners I've had. I was very faithful to my boyfriend, and we had a great sexual relationship. I've been with one girl, too, and that was very satisfying, so I really don't have anything to complain about as far as numbers go. I just need to know that I exist as a sexual being without my ex. As that cheesy song says, "the first cut is the deepest." take caresmile

Yesterday I helped my friend buy, fit and install a new modem to her PC. She'd been offline for months (can you imagine). I eventually managed to get her away from the interweb for a couple of hours to go for a lovely Italian meal (Gnocchi, hmm...) While I was at her house I noticed a scanner, so I guess I should have some more...

So, did you decide to chill or live those last few hours to the fullest? Tee hee!

I opted for major chill. Laundry and chill. Weeeee! I live such the exciting life.

Very nice bag. skull gruesome in a kind of endearing way. Tell me more of G.A.F. I am uniniated in the ways of the G.A.F. Why Melbourne? Are you going? Have you been? or is it just your fantasy city? I once carried the lonely planet guidebook to Istanbul for months. Sigh . . . still just a fantasy.

Glad you appreciate the work of LSP. I actually got to see him perform last year. He is amazing and crazy and smokes the thickest spliffs. It was wacky neat.

I like your PEZ story. Maybe I should start a project collecting PEZ stories? Would a publisher buy it? Has it already been done? Hmmmmm . . . . I have an entire PEZ dispenser collection thanks to the Chicago kids. * love the chicago kids.

Glad you dig the avatar. I have more in the same vien for displaying the many changing moods of the starisea. I feel like I should recognize yours, but I'm blanking out. confused

Glad to hear that the good vibes were received. *Maybe there is something to that butterfly chaos theory magic thingie after all* wink

Ta ta for now . . . best wishes for a pleasant week.
