My last entry was petty. I checked Powell's out again today, and saw some authors who are going to be at my local independents before they get there, so there's hope for getting JJ's autograph yet, I guess. Huzzah!
Only in Hollywood can an iron weapon/bronze armor culture conduct a massive amphibious invasion and raze a regional superpower in the span of about three weeks. Also, where in Hades where the gods? Flashy and fun, but weak. They left themselves positioned for two sequels, but I'm not really feeling it without some smitings.
Baudot and the D&D group: I'm going to generate an arcane caster within the next 24 hours. I'm waffling between sorceror and diviner. Probably human, and I'll be using the standard point buy method. Let me know if I should use more/fewer points, or roll. I hates the rolling for char gen, but I'll do it.

Oh, and use standard point gen. I know a 15 or 16 as a top score fails to be sexy and exciting, but everyone else will be on the same footing as you and the challenges will suit.

I aspire to be such a fabulous head librarian that I, too, am worthy of an action figure.
