So, Seattle is feeling the Winter blast again.
And I'm getting another round of mixed signals from a woman, which seems to always be the case here.
Am currently working the graveyard shift at the museum (Seattle Art Museum) because A., I don't have to deal with patrons, B., it pays a lot better, and C., my feet like it better (I sit mostly, rather than stand mostly).
And I NEED to get out of this town. It is killing me. It is just over 4 years since I moved back here from Sao Paulo, Brazil, and those years have not been generally good. My creativity has suffered. My fave job closed. My fave apt. ever was torn down. I had a really good relationship, but it didn't last. Then I got involved with someone with whom I had intense chemistry, but she couldn't handle real passion, and my heart broke.
And the physical maintanence the last few years has been stupidly costly. I have insurance, but it doesn't do enough.
2 of my closest friends (a couple) just moved to Silver City, NM. It's not that far from Hurly, where my Dad was born and raised till he was 13. Also nearby Ralph Bakshi has an animation school. I really want to visit. I feel like that area is calling my name, with that seductive "come hither".
Now to save some money. So I can blow this taco stand.
