Howdy y'all.
Well I've had a busy week.
Firstly I shaved off my beard (or most of it)
God I look like shit, I think I need a sleep.
By the way as soon as I lay down my cat is always straight on my chest. I love her!
Anyway real stuff,
I worked at my friends shop (Cupcakes on Pitt, main item being fantastic cupcakes)on monday and tuesday. They were in the paper on tuesday and we sold almost 500 when it has been more around 100-150. I'll never underestimate the effects of the press again.
Then yesterday morning I did some voiceover recordings for a guy doing an exibt at the Powerhouse museum. Then I worked at UTS untill the night. Then left there and picked up all the gear for Disorientation. Things were a little bit hectic last night, artists showed with totally different tech requirements than what I was told, plus there was 5 acts instead of 4, so I ran around all night getting things going. One thing I know from doing these gigs is that I can problem solve almost anything when it comes to electronic artists.
But the last act of the night was a personal favorite and they sounded fantastic so it was definitely all worth it!
Then today I returned all the gear and drove out to Penrith and started my new job teaching out at UWS. They seem nice enough but their studios are totally different from what we have at UTS so I'm going to have a bit figuring and fuss to get comfortable.
So reading back over that doesn't seem much,
what am I woried about...it'll all work out.
