My Ma is a real hoot and a half don't cha know! She is currently at the hospital recovering from the hip replacement surgery she had yesterday. I visited her last night just as she was brought up to her room, my Dad was there hovering around her smiling because she was still loopy from the drugs and saying some of the weirdest stuff. We chilled out in the room for a while and caught up on things, mostly my Mom entertained us with her newly acquired, off beat, hospital bed humor. My Dad and I would start laughing and she would be all "Hey, what are you too giggling about? and we'd tell her she was acting really goofy from the drugs.
"No, I'm not loopy at all. Go ahead, ask me any question you like."
"Okay," I said, "what color is your bed gown?
"I don't know. See? I'm fine, next question"
A female nurse then brought in this little plastic contraption that is used to test your breathing. My Mom, normally a lot more demure, proceeds to lift her sheet and says "Oh, they already hooked me up to one"
My Dad smiled, "Karin, it's not a catheter, it's for testing your lung capacity."
Needless to say, it was probably the most fun I have had in a hospital ever. My Mom is doing great and will be able to go home on Saturday, maybe as early as tomorrow morning since she is recovering so well from the operation. I am so glad everything went okay. I was sure that it would but, I feel so much better now having visited her in the hospital. Tonight she won't be loopy from the drugs anymore but, my brother is bring my little niece to come visit her "Namma" as she calls her so it will still be a lot of fun. She'll probably be a bit tired so I won't stay too long.

I will never be a blogger. That would put me in the same category of this fucking asshole.

His blog is addictive. Mostly I just like to read about how much of an arrogant, homophobic, racist, dick he is. He's also ashamed that some men pee sitting down.
