The Minus 5 are fun to watch. Or, rather, it's fun to watch redknecks watch The Minus 5. Eddie and myself went to the Bite of Oregon yesterday. And let me tell you something: it's a big waste of time. The food is piss poor, considering how good it was suppose to be. My sister remarked that it was a bit off to pay a cover charge to eat at Burgerville. I laughed.
That's the catch though: Eddie and I did not pay to get it. We accidentally walked in the back door, free of charge. A fact that certainly softened the blow of how lame it was. Accept The Minus 5, which was a cool surprise.
The trip was a nice change of pace however. It was definitely nice to see my nephew outside and having fun. My mom has been trying to "analyze" him, which, needless to say, is probably giving him deep psychological scars. God, my Mom is an ass.
My Father-in-Law wrote me an email the other day. I can't seem to find a way to respond to it. He asked what my favorite bands were. You'd think that's something that I could answer readily--a topic I could really tear into. Yet, I always have trouble answering that question. I mean, I have favorite albums, which is easy to have. Bands however, they always seem to dissapoint over the long run. Maybe I'm just being an ass.
This is the official "hansel needs a job" statement.
