The best feeling I've had this entire year was when I woke up this morning at 5am and saw that we'd reached our £2,000 goal on the GoFundMe I started to help get my friend home to Zimbabwe after his mother passed away. An anonymous person donated a whopping £1,350 early hours this morning and took us over our goal. I am so incredibly overwhelmed and thankful for this person and for all the support I've had from everybody who donated or even just shared the link. Without certain people sharing the link the anonymous donator would never have seen it because he's not somebody I or my friend know personally! What a generous and lovely thing to do, all in the spirit of Christmas, the time of giving.
