Austin is a really cool town. my wife and i came really close to moving there once upon a time. its been a while since i've been there, but in the 90's, it had a pretty good music scene. good luck man. 
We've found a shipping company for my car. We've gotten a ton of boxes. We've both got jobs lined up. We've gotten estimates from movers and chosen a company and a moving date. Our application has been approved for a 3 bedroom, 2 bathroom house with a 2-car garage for me to set up a studio in.

My special lady friend and I are both terribly excited for impending year-round motorcycling. It'll be really nice to be able to ride my bike to work in January. And it'll also be nice to buy a house.
