im positively thinking about doing the arthouse thing
that sounds easy and fun..

Last night, as my ladyfriend and I were sound asleep, someone (more than one someone) came into our yard with various tools, shut off our central air conditioning, cut the lines, and removed the unit from the side of the house.

that is fucked up. air conditioners are a big deal there, $$$. i have heard of that kind of thing happening before in the Southwest. you need a dog, maybe? we have 2 and they are friendly mutts but go off if someone gets near our yard. and they protect my kids in a good way.

That's the one I went to. I probably could have found a better pair of pants, but the guy couldn't find a coat that wasn't outrageously long on me.

my son and i are flying into El Paso to see my wifes parents. my Father In Law got a new pick up truck and he is giving me his old one. we will goof in Mexico for a day, then we are taking the new ride to Santa Fe. we are hoping to move this summer and are trying to buy a business there.

Austin is a really cool town. my wife and i came really close to moving there once upon a time. its been a while since i've been there, but in the 90's, it had a pretty good music scene. good luck man.
