some random and miscellaneous thoughts...
i just bought r.buckminster fuller and isamu noguchi stamps at the post office. this made me very happy.
as did a new article about musicians working with authors that appeared in the toronto "globe and mail" newspaper which mentioned my new (and as yet ongoing) project musica, "the hidden variable".
i mourn the passing of julia child. she was so cool. that's all there is to say.
and the work week is complete. i'm off to new york on wednesday, and will be doodling with OSX til then.

i am currently toying with the tail tale in my head - i must write it proper and true. the short version is that my tail bone is a bit long for my spine - pilates is extra challenging in that respect - and i ALWAYS since i was little assumed i was like a lizard and had a tail, and someone clipped it. my eternal sadness was that it did not grow back. perhaps it was living in the p.i., but i was really into lizards and so wanted to be one. plus, it was a nickname for awhile (which, if you know my real name, which i think you do, makes sense). anyway, so yes - tail tail tail. i wish.
Edit: yeah I screwed up the title of the book
