Okay; it's been a while - my last post was about entering a competition for Glastonbury tickets and you won't believe it but I only bloody won!
So yeah, not only did I end up going to Glastonbury, it was free! Had an awesome time with the pigs - some incredible music, horrendous outfits and copious amounts of alcohol but it was one of the best weeks of the year!
Once I had got back (and showered 43 times), the Glasto blues set in... Luckily, I only had to wait until the following week because I was seeing the mighty Kings of Leon in Birmingham!
They were absolutely top draw! Not lost a step after a 2 year hiatus and I'm super excited for the next album.
Didn't stop there mind, a couple of days later and I was jetting across to Dublin for The Vaccines, Ben Howard & Mumford and Sons. Beautiful day in Phoenix Park, flawless weather and 3 headline worthy sets! Mumford, of course being the highlight.
After that, I had a few hours to kill between dragging my hungover ass out of bed and flying home so I did the only possible thing I could - visited the Guinness storehouse! I don't think I'd have ever forgiven myself if I didn't - being called Guinness brings on certain responsibilities I guess!
Unfortunately, it's back to reality now.. luckily, the weather is being a babe and I'm getting to do things like work al fresco!
So yeah, that was the past couple of months in a nutshell.
