Time to grind.
Time to shine.
The project is all mine.

No more waiting for other people to get their crap together, system is in place and my years of pent up frustration about spam have born fruit.

(laughter) While I do indeed have beach front property, it is frozen beach front property. Though I am told we will be doing our Polar Plunge next week. I think I'm going to opt out of that. Sudden coronary due to my stupidity and alcohol swilling does not sound like good press. smile

Yes, I hear that our Tiki lounge was well met last week with various participants drinking and reading each other stories out of Penthouse. Hence, I am opting out for this evenings festivities. smile

My neighbor returned home from deployment in Iraq yesterday. How surreal to work for a company that has employees deployed in combat conditions and not give them much thought, but to see my neighbors kids playing along the street really drives the point home that we are all really lucky in one way or another.

Indeed, it does sound like you have been extremely busy in more ways than one.

Well, as for the Uncle looking to go Federal, has he considered the NSA? They are doing a mass hiring I am told. I have kicked that one around myself, but suspect I should stay put at least for the time being.

As to your friend, that sucks that he is having such a difficult time. I have discovered that anything to do with military and MVD, well they are an evil vortex, if one should meet with the other. I have done my time trying desperately to work out various problems between the two. **shudder**

Entertaining clients? Hum. Here is to hoping they are entertaining all on their own accord....easily amused would be good, I'm sure.

Good luck on all counts my pretty.

Glad your friend made it home ok. =)

This war has been really interesting in the sense that we've been really -connected- to it... I've IRC'd with soldiers in iraq that I knew, which is something that would have been unheard of a mere 50 years ago. It's even stranger reading the blogs of iraqi's... what an age we live in. smile

Incident responce is fun!!! Good waste of 10 hours of my life because McAfee's emergency dat to catch bagel.j does not work on workstation scanners (works on servers, go figure) and some Luser decides to check his hotmail and run an attachment. *Mental note to blackhole hotmail.com*

Oh, this is sport, not real life.

Myself, I do it to avoid throttling my superiors.

Believe it or not Fedex and UPS will deliver here. You pick one.

Incidentally, I've never heard of Passage Creek, but I haven't been here long.
