So here it is...my first blog on SG. I'll keep it short. Jeez, I gotta say that as bad as this economy has been, and as much of a beating as I have taken personally, I wonder why my "good" days seem to outnumber the "bad". Is it because I don't sweat the professional grind like I once did? Is it because I'm more focused on the important things in life? I'm guessing so. What a ride though...it's been high's and low's, but my good friends are still my good friends and I still love the things that are important to me...maybe more.

I hope the last year and half have been kind to you. For many, I know these times have been trying. People have been forced to recreate themselves and give up the lables that they incorrectly thought defined them. It's been a reality check for all of us. And you know what? I'm pretty ok with it.
