I want to go to Seattle, Vegas, and LA before the end of the summer. It's just not going to happen. I wish I could take a whole month off and travel.
Last weekend I went to this Swedish community's Midsummer (summer solstice) festival with one of my BFFs from high school. She and her siblings were all part of the same group of friends in high school, and her parents are awesome, so there was a little contingent of us that practically (and in some cases actually) lived at her house. So it was a little reunion at the festival. Super fun. Plus we made flower garlands and sold them to parents of little tow-headed Swedish kids all day and played in the creek and drank vodka. Good wholesome immigrant community fun.
On the plate: another BFF is coming to town this week and I'm hanging out with her Monday to shop for stuff for her wedding. Then 4th of July is Wednesday. Next is Adam's birthday blitz. After that, Garlic Festival. Then Florida with my family. Then Hopey's wedding. Then in October the BFF's wedding. Crazy year so far!
