Why is it that it seems to take nothing short of personal catastrophe in our lives to light that proverbial fire under our asses?
We race thru a darkness of our own making, just following the light at the end, never once stopping to look around and enjoy the simplest of things.
Then once-in-awhile something happens to make you look at whats going on and BAM, we have this grand awakening about the course of our lives.
I really can't figure it out. Why wait until then to re-evaluate everything?
Its like we can only prioritize our lives when the distraction of it is gone.
Anyways, I'll quit my pondering of old cliches and possibly say something of substance here.
I hope...
