well it is a damp and pearlescent kind of afternoon, very cozy, 'cause the heater is on and everyone else in here is asleep except me... cleo and mogwai are sprawled on the couch next to me, and jae on the bed in the corner, snoring like a madman... can you hear this guy?! usually i have my army of small stuffed animals i can chuck at him- but they are all on the other side of the room since i haven't picked them up from the last time i was chucking them at him. it's funny 'cause i have to chuck them kind of right a his head for it to reaaly work but sometimes it'll wake him up for a second and he gets this confused and grumpy look on his face and i have to look busy-but he always flops back down and back to sleep...of course making farting noises can be a good tactic as well-you have to make them really loud though-louder then the snoring. usually that works for a bit.
ive mostly just been doing the homework thing, but in a couple of weeks when everything is due i'll have much more time to catch up on my cyber-ogling, which'll be great ( i've been missing all the new girls! ) i like lilith's set a whole lot but as usual of course all the new sets are awesome, is this site not a dream come true?!!!
i'm getting really into reading George Woodcock (heehee i know ). i've been reading a couple of his books for my canadian pol essay and he's very quickly becoomig a favourite canadian political writer of mine- namely he is a major advocate for First Nations soverienty in canada- you wouldn't believe how many writers on the subject of canadian federalism only talk about the anglophone-francophone historical "founders of the nation" and completely overlook that yeah, um, actually there is this whole other population here that had there own completely distinct system of governing themselves way the hell before the "fathers" got here...and therefore any chance at a happy canadian confederation entails the inclusion of first nations as a founding pillar of this country...
