My migraine headache has finally gone away. I had it, or more probably a series of them, for nearly two weeks.
Yesterday morning I was overjoyed to find that I felt nearly normal. I went out to the store and did a few other overdue errands, then came home and took a series of much needed naps. I think I'm ready to resume eating, sleeping and all the other joys of human existence.
Spring is here!!
Several seasonal species of birds have recently reappeared at the feeders, and many more are flying overhead - winging their way to points further North. My bike and I are ready for the trails around here and the paths along the rivers in Manhattan.
My sincere thanks to the wonderful people who have made me feel so welcome here - I hope that happy days are ahead for us all.

I've mellowed out some since posting my last blog. It's less likely that I'll be taking a break, even a short one. I'll admit it. SG has gone a long way in helping to maintain my sanity. That fact is a tribute to my wonderful friends here. It's probably also an indication that I'm disappointed in most of the people in my everyday life.
