hahahahahah!!
i am having a very PRINCE day, i downloaded a buncha his songs and let me tell you, i have a million memories with the purple badness. one i was thinking just a minute ago...
one of the many loves of my life was this girl named lisa (i know, like wendy and lisa, i wont lie, that was part of the obsession) and she was the house girl. at the time i was living in this big ass house owned by the cokedealer for houston , about 1991, and she wasn't necessarily his girlfriend, i think he was gay mostly, but we all lived there, i was moving weight for him at the time, and we would always listen to diamonds and pearls and chop up the weight on tuesdays when the delivery came in, and i remeber that when cream came on she was walking back into the room from the kitchen, carry two beers, she was dressed in a pink bathrobe, blue boxers and a white t-shirt. she had on these cute white fluffy slippers, she did a complete dance routine to cream, not all stripper, but cute and kinda awkward. she was beautiful white/portuguese mix with pale white skin, dark hair, and emerald eyes. made me crazy. i just sat there, in front of the scales and b-12 and smiled as she took over 5 minutes to get my beer to me. it was one of THOSE moments. one i will never forget. i kissed her, but she just laughed, she was more in love with the powder than any boy. back then, the shamen song was out, and we would sing, "i can move, move, mooooove many ounces!!" it was a wild time. she was just amazing.
she died of AIDS about 6 yrs ago. but we had a few really wonderful moments. i really miss her.... but yeah! prince is the best. soundtrack to my life!

i have a 'cream' memory, too.
it was the beginning of my first year of high school and i was hanging out with all these girls i sort of just met.. they were real click-y girls.. cheerleader-gone-bad types. we were all waiting for it to be time to go to the woods and get drunk with all the boys. that was the first and only time i really ever hung out with them. the boy in the woods, tho.. we had an on-again-off-again smooching affair for years. he was so intense.
