I'm no good at this blogging lark, really I'm not. It's been, what, four weeks since I last posted one? Bah.
I went to a friends house-warming weekender last month, which was all kinds of fun. Got drunk, ate barbecued dead things, greek salad and chocolate covered strawberries, had some fun lightsaber fights and talked and laughed with some very good pals.
One of them had bought me a birthday present and I finally got to open it...it was a replica poster of Hammer Studios Countess Dracula, reproduced as a metal poster! It's lovely! One of my favourite Hammer films, starring the gorgeous Ingrid Pitt and I get to have the poster on my wall forever! Ace!
I spent a few days last week helping Mum sort out the garden. We've got a load of fir trees in our back garden as a hedge., and they needed trimming back desperately. Mum started off, but she cut the cable on the small hedge trimmers, so I sent her indoors and took over with the big set. It didn't take long and now they're done until next summer! Gave the grass it's penultimate mow of the year. Fingers crossed there's not much rain so it doesn't grow too much!
