I fucking hate tongue pussies.
Amusing sentence.
Let me explain. People who can't handle spicy food. Actually those people just annoy me, the ones I hate are the ones who think they can, but really can't.
For example, the idiots who go to restaurants and order the things on the menu with little pepper or fire symbol or whatever said restaurant uses to signify an item may be of a heat unsavory to some, and then are unable to stomach their food, and bitch and complain thus ruining the food for the rest of us.
I think the places most hurt by this are "cajun" (being half cajun I use that term lightly) restaurants and Asian restaurants.
I cannot order spicy cajun food in a restaurant because it doesn't exist. The only time I get to eat it is when my family cooks (family reunions, Xmas, thanksgiving, or pretty much whenever my mom feels like it. Or when I feel like cooking). And I have only eaten at one Asian restuarant where I would label the food as spicy. It was a Thai restaurant, and I ordered...something...some kind of beef. Whatever it was it kicked my ass, and I loved it!!! (i'm the kind of guy that wants my nose running and my eyes watering when I eat spicy food).
IMO Toning down food is just like being fucking PC. "Oh noes! They might be offended if we set their tongue aflame!" Or ordering a spicy dish, and complaining that it's too spicy is just like suing McDonalds b/c the hot coffee you ordered was hot (Ok not quite, unless you do actually sue the restaurant).
This is a rant set off yesterday, when a few friends and I ordered chinese. We ordered the red text pepper marked items for great justice, and then requested that they be "extra spicy." There was no noticeable heat from any of our food.
I realize that catering to the small population of people who can actually eat spicy food is not really the best way to make money for the restaurant, which is why I'm not pissed at the restaurants. I'm pissed at the morons who bitch to the restaurants who then have to lower their standards because some asshat thought he could handle the "spicy" food. Seriously, if it's marked as spicy, don't fucking order it.
RRRRRRRRRAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I think I'm done.
