. Went to K-Days yesterday and had a great time. I wasn't sure if I would; I hadn't gone to an event of that sort since I was in grade 11 or so. Once I was there, had been on a ride or two and had a new stuffed fish (that cirdt won for me) I remembered they are, in fact fun.
The only downside was that the day ended at 5. I suppose I could have kept on truckin' but it's never as fun alone, says I.
After getting home however I found myself falling into a bit of a blah mood. I had a song going through my head that I wanted to right down, but my piano skills weren't up to it so I got frustrated. Not even playing my bass (which I'm not entirely hopeless at) didn't cheer me up.
Fortunately World of Warcraft (and Guild Wars) saved the day. That is, until I went and did my dishes and discovered that the p-trap (the u-shaped thing under one's sink) had cracked.
I had a sink's worth of water on my kitchen floor.
Yay for working in a maintenance shop so being able to replace it myself in 10 minutes after work today. I love having useful skills.
Now if you'll excuse me, I'm off to finish preparing supper and deciding if I want to apply for a B.A in psychology or not. HMM.

From my many friends/family who have contemplated what you contemplate, I've learned this: a BA in psychology is only really useful if you then go for a masters. Or transfer into med school, but I don't actually know anyone who did that.
