Calendar Day, 10th
10:24am
dream:
I.
i am soon to visit a balding gay man
with a room full of exotic mirrored art...
still it rightly begins where i remember which is one of those cafes under the guise of a lantern and who i am sitting with is elizabeth, a fine leo with long black hair , a face like a paper lamp. I have come to visit and she is an artist.
Her manager comes out, a tall man with brown hair and grows darkness just for me. He begins to circle around us asking me to leave in angry demented tones. He hates me completely and this inspires in me a kind of calm which walks the line between pretensious and genuine.
he notices the mala around my neck and asks me "what is this... a... MALA" he says the wrod as tho picked out of a hat. I am then aware of his own mala coiled more tightly around his neck and made with huge beads. he grills asking if i've heard of various concepts related to the mala, all the terms and names he mentions are Jewish which finds me more confused.
At one point i feel he threatened to call the cops and this threat is given more weight when i hear him wih a phrase like:
"The brothers are here for you."
I then see flashing light and prepare to leave the porch of the cafe. Before i go i stand for saying something pitiful like: "I only wanted to be yr. friend."
After moving down the porch i run into the bald gay man, the cafe man's brother i learn and the flashing lights arrived from th latticed room which lay across the street.
This room, his room is looking like an orchid room full of mirrors, every surface contains a faceted reflection and what hung between is coal and honey. it ends the first portion.
there is a sort of intermission between the first and second portions in which i view my adventures at the cafe in to form of a comic strip drawn by Liz.
II.
I am now watchig the work of a very small man. we are on the ledge of a very tall building and he is coaxing a soldered metal spike from a girder... or i am?
either way he says "good" and the drops off the edge. I am to follow?
I find no easy wy of the ledge so i turn towards the building and move in thru a window. THis windows leads to boys room. he awakens and begins to threaten me. tho not afraid of the boy i feel i will be afraid of anyone else so after a few wrong turns i find the exit.
the exit leads to the maze of halls and balconies which constitute an apartment complex. I find the wall end of a hallway where is a window shape cut out. set on the ledge of this window is an immense ladder far down to the ground. the ladder is so long and so week that it bows out like a wide gut at it's center. I will not go down.
