So...school starts back up at the end of the month. Wondering how it's gonna be. This semester I'm headed out into the real world. Gonna be visiting temples and Mosques to get some first hand experience with the non-Christian religions.

Should be a cool experience. Have done plenty of Buddhist practice on my own, but have never experience live temple practice. Interesting if nothing else.

almost done with the school year. one more book review and one more paper and I'm finished until the fall. i can't wait to go to sleep not thinking about the extra 20 pages I could've read or the three sources I should've looked into or the 4 pages I might've written.

How ready I am to relax into a nice day job.

tired tonight. tired today. too much to think about. going to shut down for a bit. moving soon to another house. got big money poker on Tuesday for the rent. two articles due next Friday. new seminar a week from Saturday.

I do often wonder what happened to me. I used to play bass all the time. Other professionals would inquire about my techniques. I was interviewed on radio and in print. I could swap out my pickups with a better set-up in about five minutes. I toured extensively. I was broke all the time. I got laid constantly.

Now I study and present theology.

Bizarre.

big day tomorrow. got to give a talk to a seminar regarding the response (or lack thereof) of the Catholic Church to the holocaust in the dark years 1942-43. Kind of a bleak subject.
