Being a new mommy is very, very tiring, especially after a 10 hour tech fit-up at work. You know why naps were invented for kids? So parents can finally sleep. I love naps. I need a nap.

*snore*

Adele is still adorable, and still very smart. She's got sit so well we don't even have to say the word anymore, she knows to sit before going out instead of rushing the door, she comes when called, and she goes to her bed when told. She sleeps through the night, and she cuddles expertly.

However, since she got spayed on Friday, she has to wear a silly cone on her head. The cone* is making everyone frustrated. As soon as the stitches come out on Monday, she's going for a much deserved walk/run in the park.



*Since beginning this update, I've taken the cone off and she is a very happy puppy. Good thing she learned "off" so quickly. She's not even licking her stitches!!
