Well I mentioned the new Fastbacks rarities album yesterday, but I didn't say much about it. Well I'm going to rectify that right now because it seems like me and the Fastbacks themselves are the only ones who know this CD is out. It's called Truth, Corrosion, and Sour Bisquits (sic).
It's mostly stuff they recorded in the mid 90's which depsite having started in about 1980 really was their busiest period. As usual, you get a nice mix of Kurt Bloch originals with some good covers thrown in.Probably the only album you'll find an Elton John and UK subs cover on (though to be fair Axl Rose sang with Elton John and there was a UK subs cover on the Spaghetti Incident).Anyway, this CD seems to be getting no press so I just wanted to do my little part to help.
