ok, so on thursday this last week I decided it would be a good time to make a batch of my ever so popular chili, with that being said(typed) I figured why not invite a bunch of freinds over and make it a dinner party. as of right now(1:40 pm) the chili has been cooking for about an hour and a half, and damn does it smell good.with everything in the pot (chicken,chorizo, red/green peppers,serrano peppars, jalepenos, onions,& tomatoe sauce) theres about 6 quarts, thats a small batch of chili for me but hey at least it never goes to waste. its got about 4 1/2 hours left to cook. everyone thought it was a good idea and so far 12 people have said they will be here. the best part is its early enough that people will come over and still not screw up their monday morning. one of these days I should probably write down the recipe (nah).
and on another note my freind Megan is bringing her freind Stephanie over as well, I have been told she is very interested in getting to know me better. maybe that will turn into something, Im might even cross my fingers .

the dinner went really well, i gots me lots o'comments on my chili (all good except it was a bit spicy) i liked it and it could have used a bit more jalepeno but it was good all the same. of the 6 quarts i had none left at the end of the nite. and everyone agreed we should start doing dinner parties on at least a monthly basis (yeah I gets to cook )
things seemed to go well with Stephanie and were going to get together next weekend by the looks and sounds of it(no there wasnt any sex). I think I might take it a bit slow or at least slow for me and just see how things progress, either way we seemed to enjoy talking ot each other which is what we did modt of the nite .
