Ok, been a while since I've posted...

So, normally the music I have been doing lately is sort of that Aphex Twin-Autechre-idm-laptop sort of thing. That's my current project (I also have a couple of industrial side projects, all synth based.) Yesterday though, a friend of mine at work and I decided to start a new band purely for fun; just for the 'soul' reason to play out live as a release from our respective individual projects. This will be a very heavy, guitar based thing ala Tool, Perfect Circle, etc.

We are calling it, Evil Idaho! The site is live (but still under construction):

This should be a fun project. We are going to write about 9 songs in the next 3 weeks and then immediately start playing out in the Los Angeles area, so I will keep you posted of dates and places.

a boy and i tried to organize an..um...orgy once on nerve.com, but it was too much work, and i gave up. plus, all we got were ten thousand male responses and one female. that's not an orgy, it's a gang bang. or whatever they call it annabelle chong style. *shudder*

i'm sorry you didn't go, woulda made for good stories, but i understand more than most about not wanting to go out.

The Voodoo, eh? I could see an acient gibson for this group.. like an electrified version of the one Robbie Robertson played on the last song on The Last Waltz. You know, the guitar/harp? It's totally Crowely.
