I recently came across a site that asked writers to submit "flash" fiction; a complete story in 150 words or less! Very hard to do (at least, for me it is.) The idea is to write something quick, in a flash, which tells a story and can be read (and understood) in a flash. This was my submission; a near future, science fiction story... in...

Whoa, fucking sweet.

How've you been, friend?
koleeta:
I've been doing okay, living life I suppose. I think since we've last communicated I've moved to San Francisco, graduated from college, moved back to L.A. and got a grown up job.

Also, I started this. biggrin I don't update very often though. Maybe I could post about this toy you seem to have made?

ps. I think it's funny that you live in South Pas. cause I'm just over in Highland Park now. So close!

Yay! My Broken Heart Robot toy is now RELEASED! It can be found at your favorite urban vinyl/ indie art-toy retailer. There's already a very good buzz about it around the toy forums... Also, I will be signing the SDCC Exclusive Edition of the toy at the San Diego Comic-Con July 20th thru 23rd at my distributor's booth, DKE Toys. Hope to see some Suicide...

So previously I mentioned my Broken Heart Robot project, well I just received a couple of little write-ups on the following sites:

www.VinylPulse.com

Thanks to these write-ups I have received tons of emails from new fans, retailers and print magazines wanting to do a feature on my toy as well as fellow artists requesting to create customised versions of Broken Heart Robot (the vinyl...

Today I hit a Milestone on a secret project I have been working on. For the last couple of months I had [silly?] aspirations of trying my hand at the designer toy business. You know, those crazy collectable "art" toys you can find at places like KidRobot.com.

So, finally, an update!

Hmm... where to start. I picked up painting after many, many years. Discovered I suck at it.

Wow I can't believe your fucking coffee stores got their own record labels in the US.

That's great you got a digital camera, now go out and shot some stuff and show me. I don't know anything about photography. I just see pictures everywhere and I LOVE documentary photography. That's what I'd like to do.. and writing too.. but you now, not the easiest thing in the world to make a living out of. ARRR!!!

So a bit of an update...

I did a remix for Bjork's song Oceania and she wound up putting it on her site for about 6 weeks. So that was pretty cool. It was a real rough version so I was surprised. You can hear it here:

And also I am now officially a published author (and this will give away my real name...
