Good news and bad news. But the bad news is such a great story it only sucks a little!

J's mom decided to give us her bed. We currently have this this king size generic kind of bed. Not in bad condition or anything. I really hate to have to get rid of the bed and its in good condition. I just dont know anyone that needs it. Anyone interested in a free bed frame feel free to speak up!!

Anyway, the bed we are getting is this fine ass old, all solid wood bed. Love this bed!

Bad news...

On the way to my apartment, Justin and my dad have this thing roped in on the bed of my dad's pickup. THey hit about sixty and the wind starts to take it! J tries to alert my dad. My dad starts to slow down but there was too much force from the wind:

I'll let J take over just this once:

Statement made by J:

"I looked back and all of a sudden, the matress is bent in half! We tried to slow down but it was too late. The rope pops and the matress goes flyin out of the bed of the truck and does like a flip out and landed in front of the car behind us!"

We came home I was, "You're fucking with me?! Dont fuck around!"

"No, it did! No body was hurt though."

Oh my god!

$1000 matress on the interstate!

Ya'll need some advice on roping a mattress. As someone whose moved seventeen times in twelve years, I picked up a thing or two.

Secondly, that's not so bad. My mattress has been run over dozens of times from the same incidents (apparently I don't know what I'm doing). wink

Thanks for the kind words. I honestly didn't think it'd be up long enough for anyone to read, but a Sake hangover is a special thing. wink I do believe some of us are just meant to suffer. That's a double edged sword, because while we're not happy all the time like those neighbors we all love to hate, our triumphs are all the sweeter, our victory all the more beautiful, our good days all that much better because of it. kiss
