Hi everyone,
I hope all is well with everyone. Things are getting better by the day here. We finally came to a settlement with my insurance company. I will be getting the full amount of my policy. I should have it in my hands by the end of the month, which means Kelli and I can start looking for a new place. And guess what??? Since all of our furniture was trashed in the "Great Flood of Mechanicville", we don't have to move anything!!! We just have to accept delivery of our new stuff! lol Ain't life grand?
We are targeting November 1 as a move in date once we find a place. We have decided to find a place in Albany, much closer to each of our jobs. The only problem with that date is that we will be going to the Halloween Parade in Greenwich Village the night before. Oh well, we will figure something out.
I figured out something yesterday. I shouldn't look at naked pictures when I am at work! lol I was on here yesterday from work and I started getting so horny at work. I couldn't wait until I got home. Once I got home I felt much, much better! I also figured out that I am really obsessed with cute hineys, and there are an abundance of them on this site. Please don't take that as a horndog comment, it is meant as a compliment. Okay, maybe a little horndoggy too! lol
It is a beautiful day out today, I am going to the park to hang out this afternoon. I just love this weather, not too hot and a little nippy at night, and in the morning too.
Oh, BTW, Kelli might let me post another photo of her hiney on here. I posted one in the Ass Appreciation group, and she got a very positive response. Thank you Padre, that was very sweet of you. I may just post it in a future blog on here, instead of in one of the groups. It was a real ego booster for her.
Well, once more it is time for my lame attempts at literary greatness. Here comes this weeks attempts.
STORM
Gentle breezes blowing in
Softly touching on your skin
Brightest sunshine fades away
Goodbye to a lovely day.
Darkest clouds of black and grey
Closing in, here to stay.
Wind picks up, creating sound
Rain starts falling, wetting ground.
Safe and cozy, dry indoors.
Rumbling thunder, down it pours!
Getting closer, storm rolls in,
Lightning flashes soon begin.
Chink in curtains. Look outside.
There's no place to run and hide!
Children screaming, scared and soaked
Storms, to them, are not a joke!
Gutters fill to overflow
Making rivers as they grow.
Water gushing down the street
People tumbling off their feet!
Trees and bushes dance and sway
Looking like they'll blow away!
Dustbins rattling, movement found
Before crashing to the ground!
Paper, leaves and branches too
Tossed around and thrown askew.
Windows blurry, cannot see
Rainfall splashing endlessly.
Never ending, on it goes.
Will it stop? Well, who knows?
Snuggle comfy, keeping warm
Time to sleep, forget the storm!
Eyelids closing, night-time's here
Drifting off now, rest is near.
Then comes morning, not a sound
Sun is rising, daylight found.
Birds start singing, streets are dry
Hints of blue now, fill the sky.
Goodbye storm, yes cheerio!
I'm so glad to see you go!
Winter
Where am I going to find another friend like you
I cry because you are not here anymore
and each time...each damn time it seems a part of my history goes along with it
the things only we could remember and share
should I forget
it will now be always forgotten
When is winter
sometimes it is hard to tell trying while to keep things frozen
with a poem, or a picture stuffed inside a book
Three words, Hey call me still froze in my machine
when the ice breaks...will I forget?
And who will I become
now that much of my history is gone this way
from all those I lost
I will be another nameless face in the crowd
someone who doesn't mean anything but how I made the grocery clerk feel
falsifying a smile as my turn in line comes
They don't tell you that about death
how a part of your own history a soul dies too
and from it comes this new sense of purpose
which is making memories
that simple time spent thinking it is all about something else
like Filet Mignon on special occasions
or graduations
or the good family gossip
I miss you deeply
and it hurts that I drove by your street without looking for your car in the driveway
I forgot to on my way somewhere else
and I do not know if that is good or bad in the scheme of life
I just know
that I feel this god awful sense of loneliness without you
and maybe that is how others feel around me sometimes
without understanding
how afraid of summer I am right now~
