I reccomend having a 'beautiful' next time you are considering a 'digestif'. A beautiful is 1/2 grand marnier, 1/2 cognac (courvoisier or hennesy please) in a snifter, heated over warm water.

I'm thinking - start with a rosemary bread. dip in egg batter (salt, pepper, egg, little milk), cook as normal, top with: tomato, basil, chevre and chopped bacon.
