Week from Hell:

So, this week, my lovely and talented spouse took the bar exam. You know as in being admitted in the state of Washington to practice law. Its the end of a long road for us. Anyway, during that time she stayed near where the test was being given. That meant that I had our daughter to myself for the first three days of the week.

I love my daughter tremendously and I wish I could spend all my free time with her but, unfortunately, that would leave no time for school. Well, I got to spend all my free time with her this week which meant that schoolwork had to suffer and I had a midterm on Friday in my hardest class Real Analysis.

Anyway, the wife got back home Thursday mid-day, so I took my daughter to daycare in the morning and spent all day studying. I had arranged the week before with work to take Thursday and Friday morning off. Anyway, there was a lot of material to cover and I did a pretty good job of it.

I took the test this morning. I think I rocked it pretty hard. 100% hard, which is exactly what I needed in that class.

Anyway, the offshoot of this week is my wife thinks shes passed, I think I rocked the midterm, and I got to spend a lot of fun time with my daughter. Thats the good. The bad is everyone feels like theyve been run through the wringer backwards. Ive got to work this afternoon but then Im going to go home, make sure both I and the wife have sufficient alcohol stocks then Im going to get shitfaced. Well, Im going to get laid then Im going to get shitfaced.

Well look back on this week and be happy about what we did but, holy fuck was it a long week.
