The pUpdate.
The dog (usually known as Maggie, sometimes... "The Dingus") is doing infinitely better. She's acting like herself again and she finally ate something last night. No signs of her losing her lunch from either end in the near future. To those who commented, thank you for your concern.
The Dingus chewed up a bottle of Advil Friday night while I was at work. This happened immediately after pulling a supreme Houdiniesque escape from the cage I keep her in when I'm not around... lotta good that did me.
They ran a lot of tests for a lot (relatively) of money that I don't have to tell me that they don't know what's wrong with her. It seems to me that the vet and her staff are more interested in working you into a fear fueled frenzy about what could happen to leech as many of my hard earned dollars out of the ol' bank account as possible.
Doctors and auto mechanics cannot be trusted.

Relieving but still.
