Just to recap my previous posting, I have completed the dreaded task of mailing out Christmas cards. It was brutal, yet somehow I made it through. However, it helped illustrate a slight difference between men and women when it comes to detail. I was speaking to my sister on the phone while I finished up the last 5 or 6 cards... she asked what I was doing... I told her... she asked, "Did you get Christmas stamps?"
This had not even crossed my mind...
"Ummm... no. Regular Liberty Bell, first class, stamps..."
"Oh..."
"Ummm... if you squint, the Liberty Bell kind of almost looks like a reindeer..." the way I said it sounded more like a question than a declaration of truth. She replied with those three little words that I've come to expect during most our converstations. Those three little words that mean so much coming from her...
"You're an idiot..."
I miss my sis...
One week to go before I leave my new home for the bitter cold and snow of "old home"...

Or something like that.
