Once again, I am employed. Go me. The pay is really kinda low, but it will cover the bills and allow me to eat. The atmosphere is nice. Different from what I'm used to. It's a small family owned business. Benefits will be fairly nice (100% company paid medical to mention the biggie) once I get past the first 90 days.
But the point with the biggest "yay!" factor is that I will finally be working a job in which I can just go in, sit at a computer, wear whatever the fuck I want, and leave at the same time everyday. Oh, and no sawdust to blow off my clothing at the end of the day before I get in my car. No heavy lifting. No worries about losing a finger in a saw. No more being surrounded by people who have been completely ground down by life.
However, there is a downside. I fully expect another company to offer me a job in the next week or so. They will tempt me with better pay, better benefits, better everything but the happy environment that I'm looking forward to enjoying at the first place.
Do I stay with the low paying happy place, or follow the almighty dollar?
I moved here to find happiness... this will be the first test to decide whether or not I was serious about that.

Stay with the happy place. If you do, you'll find reasons every day to be glad you did.

Don't follow money. Follow your bliss and cake.
